BikeWalk Simsbury! Committed to safer, more accessible cycling in Simsbury.

Volunteers include advocates, business community and town officials.

Bike Walk Simsbury! is an ad hoc group of volunteers who are dedicated to safe and accessible bicycling and walking in Simsbury by supporting several short- and long-term initiatives, including:
  • Funding and legislative advocacy at local, regional and state levels
  • Awareness and education efforts, including "Simsbury Celebrates National Bike Month in May"
  • Development of a Bike/Ped Plan for Simsbury
  • Coordination and fundraising for CT Adaptive Cycling
  • Coordination and fundraising for Simsbury Bike Sculpture and Simsbury Bike Racks
  • Advocacy for additional signage, sharrows and road striping in Simsbury
  • Information-source for local and state bicycling activities
Monthly meetings will begin in June for anyone interested in continuing bike/ped initiatives in Simsbury. It takes an entire community to truly be Bicycle-Friendly! If you'd like to learn more about Bike Walk Simsbury!, or want to get involved, contact Ann Marie Potter at ampotter3@sbcglobal.net
